The world a little less bright today

Yesterday, we lost one of the great men of this century. A visionary man who was a beloved leader and prophet to millions. President Gordon B. Hinckley was a man of honor, integrity, and wonderfully fresh humor. I’ve never met anyone who knew about him who didn’t love him. He’s the kind of leader you would want for any religion: compassionate, loving, dedicated, sincere, and willing to be among the masses. He traveled all over the world visiting members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints which is quite a feat, especially at his age. Reports have his travels totalling somewhere around half a million miles. That’s how dedicated and driven he was as a leader of the church.

I am touched deeply by the legacy he left in the church and at the same time overjoyed that once again he can be with his sweet wife, a love story we all should aspire to. For those wishing to read more about the life of this incredible man, visit articles here, here, and here.
